Alternate Versions

The versions of Captain Canuck listed on this page either came and went very quickly, or never appeared at all. I shall attempt to list them chronologically in order of release (or attempted release) with the most recent on top.

CSIS Agent: Captain Canuck

This version of the Captain was designed by Christian Comely. Christian is the son of Richard Comely, creator of the original Captain Canuck.

Christian was reimagining the Captain and the supporting cast throughout 2012 but put an end to it when the Chapterhouse (now Lev Gleason Publications) version began appearing. A Facebook post from June of that year gives us an idea as to what he had planned.

After the dismissal of their Government Watchdog, CSIS, Canada’s Intelligence and Spy agency went forward with the controversial and once banned Halo Project now re-dubbed The Captain Canuck Initiative.

The Halo Project, started at Camp X during WWII, had claimed 9 lives since its inception. However due to the high mortality rate the project was shut down. Shortly after project leader Raymond Thomson disappeared.

Within 12 hours of the start of The Captain Canuck Initiative, patient Evan Thomson has also disappeared without a trace…
